I was tired of choosing between style, comfort, and the dog I love.
I spent years searching for the “right” bag for Mia. And by “right”, I mean something that could handle real life — not just look cute for five minutes on Instagram. Because the options were always the same story, different packaging:
And no matter what I wore — something sleek, tailored, polished — the carrier would stand out like a high-vis construction vest at a Milan fashion week brunch. Practical? Maybe. Aesthetic? Criminal.
One day I was complaining to my son — again — about how ridiculous it was that I couldn’t find something both beautiful and comfortable for Mia. And he said something so simple it almost annoyed me: “Then fix it. And if you do, I’ll go into business with you.” That was the moment. Not because it was easy — because it was true. So I did.
Mia Mor is for women who live in the real world — the world where you’re carrying a laptop, a phone, a life… and a little dog who wants to be close to you. She’s capable. Stylish. Often busy. And her dog isn’t an accessory. She’s family.
She refuses to tolerate mess and chaos, flimsy design, “pet gear” that ruins an outfit, overpriced branded carriers that look prettier but don’t work, or sacrificing her dog’s comfort so she can look pulled together. In short: she refuses to compromise. And honestly? Same.
When I started designing, I wrote down what had to be true, no exceptions: elegant enough for meetings; comfortable and safe for your dog; structured and durable (no sagging, no collapsing); beautifully organised inside (laptop sleeve, pockets, logic); easy to clean (because… dogs); and a luxury finish — gold-tone hardware, considered stitching, protective feet. The details matter. Because women shouldn’t have to carry their lives in an ugly bag to bring their dog along.
This wasn’t a quick “let’s slap a logo on a tote” situation. I spent six months prototyping and another six months road-testing the design across three continents — tweaking structure, testing comfort, adjusting details most people would never notice… but you feel every day when you actually use a bag.
Mia Mor is built on intention: materials chosen for durability and ease (like premium coated canvas), finishing chosen for polish and longevity, and structure chosen for comfort and confidence — for both of you.
The name is a love letter. To Mia, the little independent baby thug who brought light back into my world. And a nod to my Italian roots — a play on “my love” and the kind of romance I actually believe in: the everyday kind. The kind that shows up. The kind that stays.
Mia Mor exists so women never have to choose between style and bringing their dog again. We believe dog life should feel beautiful, calm, and effortlessly chic — not sweaty, saggy, and chaotic. Because love deserves better design.
